Look out for Petit Robin if they go for the Ryannair and Shinrock Paddy was really stunning last time so could go close in his choice of bookings at the Cheltenham Festival.

The Racing Post has cut up so badly I feel like I’ve slashed my wrists on it!

£75 down on Possol already, I was going to back Miss Mitch on Saturday to try and recoup my losses but I think I’ve shed enough blood on this race to want to get involved now. Without a strong trends horse I’d just be chasing losses.

Just signed up for the Cheltenham Trends and am once again, hopefully, looking forward to another profitable Festival!

It would be nice to get off to a flyer with the bonus of the Racing Post Chase but your selections keep dropping off the list of runners - I may just take your next best option in the hope it does the business.

Can’t wait for your complete guide to get the buzz for the Festival again!

Hi Jim,

While in theory this sounds like a good system I think you’ll find it ultimately proves suicidal!
Suroor has run up to 5 horses in the same race over the last month or so and it would only take a couple of losers (or short priced winners) in these races before you’re staking far more than would be ideal.

Let’s hope we’re getting all the bad luck out of the way now.
Expect third choice Piraya to unseat rider when clear at the last!
It’s all very frustrating but, unfortunately, is part and parcel of backing horses.

It seems to me that following suroor at meydan on a thusday and adopting a double up stakes until u back a winner is the way to go.

Like you, I thought Possol looked a good thing, only to be pulled out. Now your next best is injured!!!
