The weather may be better than is usual for a Bank Holiday but some things never change, the racing is as bad as ever! After the success of my each way Lucky 15 on Saturday I was planning on having another go today but I just can’t find 4 horses that I fancy.
In fact there’s only one horse I’ll be backing today and that’s Webbow. He runs in the 4.10 Ripon and with the eye catching jockey booking of in-form Kieren Fallon he must have a great chance of finally getting back into the winners enclosure.
The busiest Monday of the year and this pile of rubbish is the best racings rulers can come up with. To make matters worse Zulu isn’t even on the telly this afternoon. Oh well, it looks like an afternoon in the park playing football with Dylan….
Good luck,
Gavin.

Col,
It seems I got my Ripon and Redcar 2yo Trophies mixed up. I don’t have any data for the Ripon one today (although I do have the Redcar 2yo race for next month) so unfortunately there won’t be a Trends Guide for the race. Apologies for the mix-up.

There were no real bad beat stories in the Poker. I started off well and had a pretty decent chip stack at the dinner break. But it then went downhill as I lost half my chips to a flush draw when I hit 2 pair on the flop and the rest went sometime later when my Kings lost to AceKing. That’s poker!

Hi Gav unlucky with the Poker, have done Webbow and given one last chance to Oldjoesaid he’s really well handicapped and did run a little better than his finishing position would suggest last time at York, 7/1 today that’ll do for me.
Good Luck
Gary
